Sang-po dawa means
»the one that brings the
light and takens the
darkness away" .Our
dogs are bringing the light
into our home for already
two decades.

Our dogs are part of our
lifes, they are involved in
practically everything
except of our jobs.
Of course they live with us
inside of our house and
outside they have a huge
green garden with fence to play.
Our journey began in 1990
when we brought our first
tibetan terrier, beautiful
female, four years later we
brought from the Netherlands
another tibetan terrier, a
beautiful black male.
We started to visit
dogshows, we participate at
club meetings, but most of
it, we went together with
dogs on trips, on holidays
and we were looking forward
to every single free moment
we could, to free our minds
and to go to walk along the
hills, fields or some nearby
pastur and enjoy the freedom
of our nature. Makoa and
Gorin knew exactly what to
do to steal our hearts.
It did not take long and we
were affected by a
TT virus like many other
breeders.
We increased our family with
more TTs.
Unfortunately our first two
tibetans (Makoa & Gorin) are
not alive anymore, but they
live in our hearts and
memories and they always
will.
With this two dogs I have
realised the beauty of
tibetan terrier, not just
their appearance which is
decorated withthe beauty of
lush
long hair but specialy the
character.
Character for which this
dogs are called
"little people"
If you let the TT to live,
breath and to feel with you,
you will know exactly why
they are called so.
Together we are going on
trips to the sea, lakes the
mountains, but when visiting
the exhibition, they turn
into real beautiful show
dogs.
Our kennel is registered by
FCI and our puppies
are raised only with
pedigree!
All
of our breeding dogs have
breeding permissions,
are hip scored, eyes are
checked regularly,
also patellas and all of our
dogs are ccl DNA tested!!
This was the essence of our
breeding.
Breed typical and
especially genetically
healthy TTs and place them
into good and friendly
homes.
We do not choose the sires
in relation to geographical
distance.
If we like the stud that
lives 1000 miles away, we
will use him.
Our puppies go into new
homes at age of 9 weeks, if
needed also later, but this
is not last goodbye for us.
We sure want to keep the
contact with the new owners
and we are happy of every
new photo of the dog that we
get.
Puppies are raised in a home
atmosphere with the
maximal possible
socialization and with
contact with people of all
ages and with our adult
dogs.
They learn how to live with
the people together in
living room and they know
how the grass feels under
their paws!! Before
leaving, all puppies are
dewormed, vaccinated and
tattooed into the left ear.
(in our county we still have
to tatoo puppies).
We
regularly
visit traditional club
meetings, consultations with
the breeders, seminars, and
if time allows us also
Tibetan Terrier world
congress.
After so many years of
experience with the breed I
still can observe the
differences of their
individual nature but there
is still something common to
all of them: they are loyal
companion, who demands
responsibility and they have
to be treated with respect.
They give you what you give
to them, so you better be a
good, loving and responsible
owner.
Fot the end let me summerize
the words of one cynolog who
once said:«
Dog is the oldest and most
loyal partner of humanity.
We keep, breed, teach, and
love them, because our life
is more happy, more colorful
and richer with them«.
We are member of FCI, Tibetan
Breeds Club of Slovenia,
member of Austrian club for
Tibetan breeds:
«Osterreichischer
Klub fur Tibetische
Hunderassen« and a member of
german club: "
Internationaler Klub fur
Tibetische Hunderassen"
